During the summer of 1981, in the northern Mexican city of Juarez, YWAM embarked on a bold new venture to bring about long-lasting discipleship, training and evangelism to Mexico. YWAM Mexico was born and 28 years later maintains 15 permanent locations with others in the pioneering phase. What began in a bustling border town has grown into numerous training schools, short-term opportunities, church planting and community development projects all over Mexico.

2010 marks the 50th anniversary of YWAM International and YWAM Mexico will be commemorating this grand milestone with our founders, Loren and Darlene Cunningham here in Guadalajara!
